2012-2013 School Calendar
Parents and schools need to work together for the betterment of the students. Parents play an important role in providing support and building the confidence of their children. Parents should check some of the tips or activities they can use to develop their children’s confidence and improve their school experience.
At Guilford Preparatory Academy, Parent-Teacher conferences can be anytime before or after the regular school hours when agreed upon by parent and teacher. Please make sure that everyone involved has advanced notice about conferences so that there will be no distractions.
Please avoid trying to conduct impromptu conferences with teachers during the arrival and dismissal times as these are extremely busy times for them.
Our school calendar includes 180 days for students, but in the event of inclement weather, parents will be notified by the local television station, a radio annoucement, and/or telephone message.
